Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle massage technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymph fluid through the body. The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in maintaining fluid balance, absorbing fats and fat-soluble vitamins, and defending the body against infections by removing waste and toxins. This kind of therapy is particularly effective in reducing swelling and inflammation. It can alleviate conditions such as lymphedema and post-surgical swelling by promoting the removal of excess fluid from tissues. *NOTE* If you are seeking a MLD and have any of the following: blood clots, heart / circulatory issues, any infections, undergoing active cancer treatments, or are less than 6 weeks post-operative, please provide a written release from your surgeon or primary care physician before booking your session.
